Geocaching Goals 2026

So did I achieve my targets for 2025? Well achieved four got crept closer to the letterbox one I surpassed my 25,000 target reaching 28,533. And I’d also like to say thank you to those I’ve cached with over the last year often as Team SCG (Saturday Caching Group) made up of Manxrose, WavyDale, DAW63 and joined on occasions by Wild Goosey, JnKFox, PurpleStarGiraffe, karentheot, The Stones, Pedro, Titan270 and JaneChick

So my 2025 targets were as follows ;

• 25000 finds (Achieved ended on 28533)
• Reach 250 Letterbox finds (Failed ended on 221)
• Reach 100 Virtual finds (Achieved)
• Reach 250 Earthcaches finds (Achieved)
• Complete d/t x2 (Achieved)

But 2025 was my best ever year for finds 6343 with plenty of trips out and about around the country but mostly within the Midlands. My finds were made up of 4492 Adventure labs, 1318 Traditional caches, 134 Multi caches, 250 Mystery caches, 40 Earth caches, 19 Events, 29 Letterbox caches, 20 Virtuals, 30 Wherigo caches and 1 CITO 2 Mega events, 1 Maze exhibit, 5 community celebration events, 1 Locationless and 1 Block party event .

So onto to my 2026 targets

• 30000 finds
• Reach 250 Letterbox finds
• Reach 125 Virtual finds
• Reach 125 Wherigo finds
• Reach 300 Earthcaches finds
• Find a 2001 set cache placed in the following months Feb, Mar, Apr May Jun or Jul
• Find 1 in a month 2002 set cache placed in the following months Jan, Feb, Apr Jun Jul or 3 in Aug
• Find a 2004 set cache placed in the following months to a total of 4 Jan, Feb, May, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov and Dec.
• Virtual finds on the 20th & 21st of the month
• 15 Letterboxes with 55 favourite points
• Wherigos found on the 2,5,6,15 or 30th of the Month
• T5 caches not in Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Leicestershire, or Cheshire
• Large find on the 10th and 15th of the month
• 130 more challenge caches
• Mystery d/T grid need 6

More targets this year some are relating to challenge caches already signed so aiming to complete them some are more challenging than others lets see how we progress in 2026.
